This semester I have been working hybridity and developing an experimental paint stop motion animation process. Semester 2 I will be progressing the work & incorporating layers of sound. This film is based on Te Po the first part of creation before the light. Te Po translated is the dark, the night & also references 'Hine-nui-te-po' the Maori mythological Goddess of the night and the eternal night -death.
